About the role Reporting to the Director of Community Engagement, the General Manager, Wild Learning leads the strategic direction and delivery of learning experiences across both sites. This role oversees formal and informal education programs, school and community engagement, educator professional learning and immersive conservation experiences that inspire audiences and support Zoos SA’s conservation goals. Working collaboratively across multiple departments, you will lead a passionate team while driving innovative, curriculum-aligned and purpose-driven learning initiatives. Contract OpportunityThis role is being offered as a 12-month temporary contract to support an exciting period of growth and transformation across Wild Learning. The successful candidate will be supported by the permanent General Manager, Wild Learning, who will remain available in a remote support capacity throughout the contract period to assist with continuity, strategic direction and a smooth transition into the role. - RRHAN-EC Mandatory Notification Training
- Previous experience as a Senior Manager within education, youth and community programs or a relevant field)
Desirable- Qualifications in Education, Conservation or a related field
- Current teacher registration
- Experience in grants, youth programs or volunteer management
The salary for this role is $110,000 per annum.
